Under the theme MOVING FORWARD, submissions are open for the 24th #UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival). The 2021 edition will run from October 21-31, 2021 in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, San Francisco and Stanford University, USA

Held annually in October, UNAFF has grown to be one of the oldest and most respected documentary film festivals in the USA. It utilizes the medium of documentary film as an educational tool on a number of topics – #media, #war, #gender issues, #diversity, #racism, #immigration, Native American issues, LGBTQ+, health and social inequities. Originally conceived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it was founded by Stanford educator and film critic Jasmina Bojic.
