CPH:INDUSTRY has announced the full lineups for the 2026 editions of the CPH:DOX Summit and CPH:Conference, running 16–19 March in Copenhagen, with programming framed around the «infrastructure of truth» under political pressure, platform power, and AI disruption. The Summit is anchored by «Safe Havens», defined as independent spaces where voices can circulate without algorithmic suppression and outside pressure, while the Conference extends into sessions on ethics, sonic cinema, immersive practice, and future alliances.

The CPH:INDUSTRY Summit (Monday, 16 March) is presented in collaboration with ARTE and is positioned as a response to Europe’s democratic recession and dependence on U.S. platforms. Curated by producer Mark Edwards, Think-Film Impact Productions founder and CEO Danielle Tukov Wilson, and researcher Sameer Padania, and hosted by producer Beadie Finzi, the day opens with a keynote by Bruno Patino, President of ARTE France. Sessions include «The Act of Building: New Infrastructure for Information Ecosystems Under Siege», focused on digital, financial, and physical infrastructure, and «To be seen or not to be seen, that is the question», a forward-looking strategy discussion on how independent creatives and distributors might combine forces to reach citizens in 2030 despite constrained access and rising misinformation. The Summit closes with «Tales from the Frontlines», featuring journalist Joanna Krawczyk (Correctiv.Europe), journalist Irma Dimitradze, and journalist-director Bea Wangondu (director of Kikuyu Land), addressing tactics for resisting censorship and restoring trust, including grassroots innovation, cross-border partnerships, and AI-enabled fact-checking.

CPH:Conference runs 17–19 March with sessions spanning craft, ethics, sound, and technology. Highlights include «A Morning With: Poh Si Teng» on directing ethics in conflict contexts and discussion of her debut American Doctor; a conversation on Time and Water with director Sara Dosa, producer Shane Boris, and National Geographic Documentary Films executive Carolyn Bernstein; and «The Art of Listening», a session on sonic cinema featuring Hira Nabi, Onyeka Igwe, and Anne Gry Friis Kristensen. Day 1 also includes «What Is Truth Anyway» with editor and filmmaker Joe Bini and a workshop titled «From Prompt to Protocol: The Making of DoxAI», developed with Doc Society and the Atmospheric Intelligences Initiative. Day 3 opens with John Wilson in conversation with Thom Powers about The History of Concrete, followed by sessions on contemporary Palestinian documentary practice, Indigenous-led nonfiction, and narrative positionality

Alongside the Summit and Conference, CPH:INDUSTRY 2026 activities include CPH:FORUM (17–19 March), CPH:ROUGHCUT (16March), CHANGE (16 March), CPH:LAB, INTRO:DOX (15–16 March), and the CPH:MARKET online platform (11 March – 2 April).
