Sarajevo Film Festival has renewed its focus on documentary cinema with a revitalised concept for its industry strand at CineLink Industry Days, running 17–18 August. Designed to address the evolving needs of contemporary documentary practice, the two-day programme will bring together filmmakers, decision-makers, and industry professionals for curated sessions, presentations, and networking opportunities.
CineLink Talks
Central to the programme is the panel Decoding the Documentary Industry: What Decision Makers Are Looking For? (18 August, 15:00), moderated by Martichka Bozhilova and featuring Tereza Bona Keilova, Inka Achte, and Ania Trzebiatowska. The discussion will examine current trends shaping commissioning, funding, and distribution, offering filmmakers practical insights into navigating the international marketplace.

Co-organised with the Balkan Documentary Center, this programme supports five projects from Southeast Europe and the Caucasus in the final editing stages.
