Over 120 film professionals—including leading festival programmers, sales agents, and broadcasters—will gather in Olomouc, Czech Republic from 29 June to 7 July for the annual dok.incubator workshop.

Programmers attending the workshop include Sudeep Sharma from #Sundance Film Festival, Mourad-Anis Moussa of Visions du Réel, Amalie Brok from #CPH:DOX, Heather Haynes representing #Hot Docs#, and Elena Gaitanarou from the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival. Czech festivals will also be represented by decision-makers from Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival and the One World Festival.

The workshop features open sessions on contemporary challenges in documentary filmmaking, including the impact of artificial intelligence and evolving distribution strategies. Experts contributing to these sessions include sales agents from #CAT&Docs and #Lightdox, and representatives from broadcasters such as #Al Jazeera# and #HBO Max.

In addition to expert panels and screenings, all decision-makers will hold one-on-one meetings with filmmakers participating in the international, Czech, and Slovak dok.incubator workshops. Guest films involved in dok.connect networking events will also have access to key industry figures.

This year, dok.incubator introduces a new co-production forum, bringing together 20 European producers, post-production houses, and funding institutions to foster international collaborations.
