The 6th Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival (AJB DOC) is gearing up for an exciting lineup with a dynamic international jury. This diverse panel includes director #Vitaliy Manskiy#, director #Bernadett Tuza-Ritter#, producer #Vanja Jambrović#, director #Nermin Hamzagić#, and producer #Mohamed Elmongy#. They will collectively decide on the recipient of the «AJB DOC Main Award» from the festival’s competition program.

An interesting detail about this jury is their close connection to the festival. Most of the members have screened their original documentaries at previous AJB DOC editions, with some even winning awards. Notably, Mohamed Elmongy, the Al Jazeera representative, is the exception in this regard.

Bernadett Tuza-Ritter, who won the «AJB DOC Main Award» in 2018 for Why Slavery? A Woman Captured, brings her unique perspective. Vitaliy Manskiy, known for documentaries like Putin’s Witnesses and Gorbachev. Heaven, offers his thought-provoking insights. Producer Vanja Jambrović’s contributions include films like Srbenka and Museum of the Revolution. Nermin Hamzagić, who premiered The Rope at the 2019 Festival, adds his creative viewpoint.
