AJB DOC Film Festival announces winners for fifth documentary festival

The fifth Al Jazeera Balkans International Documentary Film Festival has ended with the international jury deciding on its best film and other awards.

The top award for the best film in the Competition program was awarded to Gorki Glaser-Müller, the screenwriter and director of the film Children of the Enemy. The unanimous decision was bestowed on the film that follows the Swedish musician Patricio Galvez in his mission to save seven of his grandchildren from the infamous Al-Hol prison camp in northern Syria. A special mention was also given to Julie Bezerra’s All that Remains to be Seen.
