AJB DOC Film Festival unveils full programme & awards for first Industry Days platform

Al Jazeera Documentary channel has launched its Industry Days platform, which will take place from 10 – 12 September within this year’s fifth Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival.

Over its three days, projects from the Balkans, Caucasus, Southeast Europe and the Middle East-North Africa region will be presented, providing participants the opportunity to connect with broadcasters, financiers, distributors, film festivals and funds. Overall, 30 projects in different stages of production will be presented through three pitching categories (Main Pitch, Work in Progress and Balkan Stars). Projects will compete for co-production awards worth more than 60,000 USD awarded by Al Jazeera Documentary and Al Jazeera Balkans, as well as several other partner awards, including from Sunny Side of the Doc, Cannes Docs, BelDocs, EatDoc Platform, and more.
