Tshi Malatji is co-editor of AFROMA, an Afican film magazine. They are a 2025 mentee of the Berlinale Talents Durban, 2024 participant in the Southern Africa-Locarno Industry Academy (SALIA) and a 2023 alum of the Encounters Community Festivals: Doc Activate Season. Tshi has reviewed films for the Encounters South African International Documentary Film Festival, the Fame Shorts FIlm Festival, the Joburg Film Festival and the Durban International Film Festival.
