One remarkable Chilean production capturing attention is Diario de un infiltrado (Diary of an Infiltrator), directed by Samuel León and co-directed by Saúl Valverde. The documentary reveals the untold story of Miguel Herberg, a Spanish filmmaker who defied the #Pinochet regime by infiltrating the extreme right-wing in Chile from 1972 to 1974. Returning 50 years later, Miguel reunites with former prisoners to unveil an unpublished chapter of history.

Joining the delegation, Cábala, a renowned production company known for creating series for streaming platforms and television, presents No One Less. This documentary series delves into the thriving Latin American #feminist movement, shedding light on gender violence and femicide cases in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain.

La Ventana Cine, with its extensive international experience, brings two projects to the forefront. Antarctic Mission explores a story of hope amidst the catastrophic effects of #climate change#, while Lonko delves into the challenges faced by a #Mapuche community in their quest for land recovery following the death of their leader.

Raki Films contributes Children of Water, a series that showcases children from different countries promoting knowledge of ancient civilizations to protect the invaluable resource of water. Tres Tercios presents Sketches of the End of the World, a documentary series where a new generation of illustrators sketch ecosystems threatened by human activities.

Villano presents Freed, a series that delves into the battles and stories of inmates seeking reintegration into society after a violent past. We Are South showcases two projects: A Country Imagines Itself, which explores Chile’s political landscape, and Rooting: Bamboo in Latin America, a journey through Mexico exploring sustainable aspects of bamboo cultivation, design, and construction.

Additionally, Voladores Films presents Miguel, a feature film investigating the murder of an environmental activist in Mexico.
