CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator opens applications for 2024 programme

CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator is now accepting applications for its 2024 edition, specifically targeting women and non-binary filmmakers. This program is an opportunity for directors or producers at any stage of documentary project development to receive expert guidance and industry exposure.

The accelerator will select 10 participants, providing them with a platform to refine their projects and connect with key industry figures. Participants will benefit from three in-person modules in different countries, complemented by online sessions, ensuring comprehensive project development and networking opportunities.

The program is structured as follows:

  • Module 01 (Greece, June 2024): Focuses on creative development and project analysis.
  • Module 02 (Serbia, September 2024): Aims at enhancing project packaging and strategic market positioning.
  • Module 03 (Trieste, Italy, January 2025): Concludes with presentations to collaborators and decision-makers at the When East Meets West co-production market.

Applications are open until 26 February 2024 and can be submitted through the online form. Selected participants will be announced in April 2024. Additionally, an informational webinar will be held on 8 February at 16:00 pm (CET).

CIRCLE is a unique training platform that fosters collaboration and professional development. Since 2018, it has supported 50 directors and producers from 35 countries, with the majority of projects receiving international recognition and funding.
