CPH:FORUM, the leading international financing and co-production event within #CPH:DOX, has unveiled its official project selection for 2025, featuring 30 documentary projects from 26 countries. Taking place 24-27 March 2025, the forum will connect 5 filmmakers and producers with key industry players, including representatives from Netflix, ARTE, HBO Europe, BBC, and Sundance Institute.

The lineup includes projects by filmmakers Jennie Livingston (Paris is Burning), Marc Cousins (The Story of Film), Peter Middleton (Notes on Blindness), and Tamara Kotevska (Honeyland), exploring topics from personal and existential journeys to global and societal issues.

New for 2025, CPH:FORUM introduces CPH:ROUGHCUT, a dedicated section for five near-complete documentaries seeking festival premieres and distribution. The CHANGE initiative returns for its fourth year, showcasing projects from #Ukraine, #Moldova, #Georgia, and beyond.

Several new awards highlight this year’s event, including the $25,000 Sandbox Films Science Pitch Prize, the €10,000 Al Jazeera Documentary Channel Co-Production Award, and the €30,000 Outreach Award for projects with international audience engagement. Winners will be announced on 27 March 2025, at Kunsthal Charlottenborg.
