CPH:DOX has unveiled the 2026 project selection for CPH:FORUM, its flagship financing and co-production platform, set to run 17–19 March in Copenhagen, with CPH:ROUGHCUT and CHANGE pitch presentations scheduled for Monday, 16 March. The programme will bring 101 directors and producers from 23 countries to present 30 documentary projects spanning early development through production, combining established auteurs with emerging non-fiction voices.

The slate includes new works linked to filmmakers such as #Lea Glob#, #David Borenstein#, #Göran Hugo Olsson#, #Verena Paravel#, #Beniamino Barrese#, #Robert Greene#, #Diana El Jeiroudi#, #Ra’anan Alexandrowicz#, and #Kathryn Ferguson#, alongside producing teams associated with recent international successes including The Territory and All That Breathes.

CPH:ROUGHCUT will spotlight five near-finished films aiming for 2026 premieres and seeking sales, distribution, broadcast buyers, festival launches, and other exhibition pathways. Teams will present selected scenes to the industry as the event opens, underscoring CPH:FORUM’s function as both marketplace and last-mile launchpad for completed work.

For the fifth consecutive year, CPH:DOX partners with International Media Support (IMS) and EAVE on CHANGE, a six-month development and co-production training programme for filmmakers from the EU Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine). After two residential workshops in #Moldova, eight projects will culminate in a final Copenhagen workshop in partnership with the National Film School of Denmark and a dedicated pitch session on March 16.

CPH:FORUM will also distribute eight awards totalling more than €100,000, including new contributions from ARTE and the Jacob Burns Film Center. Additional prizes include Sandbox Films’ $25,000 Science Pitch Prize, Al Jazeera Documentary Channel’s €15,000 co-production award, and Eurimages New Lab awards for innovation and outreach. The awards will be presented at the CPH:INDUSTRY Happy Hour & Award Show on March 19 at Kunsthal Charlottenborg’s Social Cinema.
