DocPoint brings special screening to infamous Helsinki music club

DocPoint, Finland’s largest documentary film festival, has announced a very special screening for its 2022 festival edition. On the occasion, DocPoint will premiere the new film from Antti Kuivalainen, Then The Times, They Changed. The premiere comes in cooperation with the legendary Finnish rock club Tavastia, and tells the story of the premier rock establishment in Helsinki since 1970. Stories straight from the infamous backstage are shared by musicians Jussi Raittinen, Ursus Factory, Aija Puurtinen (Honey B and the T-Bones), Ville Valo (HIM), and many others.

The premiere will be held at Tavastia Club on 2 February 2022 with Kuivalainen in attendance to speak on the making of the film and answer the questions presented by the audience. Find tickets – HERE

DocPoint will be held in Helsinki from 31st January to 6th February 2022. The Festival Programme is published and the ticket sales for individual screenings begin on 10th January.
