dok.incubator has opened its call for submissions for the 2025 program. Filmmakers with projects in the rough-cut stage have until 27 January 2025, to apply for this intensive eight-month initiative. The workshop offers an opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading editors, producers, and marketers to refine storytelling and develop targeted marketing and distribution strategies.

The program selects eight teams, each comprising a producer, director, and editor, to participate in three residential sessions held throughout 2025. These sessions, dedicated to rough cuts, fine cuts, and near-picture lock stages, provide tailored mentorship. Participants receive feedback from key festival representatives, sales agents, and other decision-makers to ensure their projects resonate internationally.

Over its 13-year history, dok.incubator has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of filmmakers. The program boasts an impressive track record, with 14 alumni films entering Sundance competitions, approximately 40 screening at IDFA, and six earning European Film Award nominations.

The workshop also offers continuous guidance from over 30 international experts in editing, production, and marketing. Projects aim to reach picture lock by early autumn 2025, ready to navigate the festival circuit and beyond.
