FIFDH Impact Days announces full 2023 programme

The 5th edition of the FIFDH Impact Days was launched on 19 January 2023 with the public webinar Impact Filmmaking for Social Justice. Now, the Geneva-based Human Rights Festival has announced its full programme for 12 – 14 March, as well as opening up accreditations.

Over its three days, Leaders in the impact field will showcase impact film campaigns based on strong collaborations between filmmakers, NGOs and civil society. In addition, 16 film teams from 23 countries, selected for this year’s Impact Lab will publicly pitch their films and impact campaigns to an audience of changemakers. There will also be the opportunity to exchange with all nine members of the Global Impact Producers’ Alliance (GIPA) Advisory team, as well as a host of networking opportunities to find future impact partners.

2023 programme FIFDH Impact Days highlights include:

  • Case study: Cinema and activism with Softie
  • Case study: The power of collectivity to DigUpTheTruth with To See You Again (Volverte a Ver)
  • Case study: Impact film in times of war – using documentary film to advocate for war crimes accountability. A case in progress with the Ukrainian Peace For Nina
  • Swiss Focus: Launch of the JeSuisNoires global campaign
