The Ji.hlava New Visions Forum will platform fourteen ambitious European documentary works-in-progress at the 29th #Ji.hlava IDFF#, with public industry presentations running 29–31 October, 2025. As ever, the Forum spans development through post-production and welcomes hybrid and experimental forms alongside classical docs.

This year’s European slate sits within a wider four-day industry programme (Oct 28–31) and arrives as #Croatia takes the spotlight as Ji.hlava’s 2025 Industry Country in Focus. Awards for the most promising projects will be decided by a jury comprising #Rada Sešić#, #Tue Steen Müller#, and #Chris White#, in collaboration with partners including UPP, Soundsquare, Taskovski Films, Cannes Docs – Marché du Film, Documentary Association of Europe, Sheffield DocFest, Meditalents’ LabDoc, and the Jacob Burns Film Center.
