MajorDocs, the first international slow film festival, unveiled its 5th edition’s full programme. Scheduled from October 3rd to 7th at s’Escorxador, the festival will also introduce Estudi General Lul·lià as a new venue this year.
Miguel Eek, the festival’s director, highlighted the festival’s core principles: authors, creation, and slowness. «In an age of haste and distractions, we advocate for a space where films can be viewed differently—with greater awareness and rest,» Eek stated, while unveiling this year’s poster featuring a group of moths circling a light. «We, as creators, see ourselves in these insects’ quest for light and truth—even if it sometimes leads to getting hurt.»
