Bucharest’s One World Romania will return this year with over 60 feature and short films from around the world. For 2021, the documentary festival will take place via two sessions. The first will be from 21 to 30 May, where physical screenings will take place at Cinema Elvire Popesco, the Cinema at the Museum of the Romanian Peasant, as well as several other indoor and outdoor locations throughout the city. Then, from 31 May to March 6 June, One World Romania moves online.

This 14th edition The 14th edition of One World Romania will celebrate, present, and question the struggles for #social equity# of women around the world, the main problems they still face, and the reasons that have not yet allowed it. Through its film programme, competitions, and legendary filmmaker retrospective, and visual identity (created by Maria Drăghici, and inspired by German filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger), One World Romania will address these issues and many others related to the rule of law and #social justice#, the rights of #LGBTQ+ people, #refugees, and #immigrants, but also to take a tour of the landscape of the current documentary film.

To reserve a physical seat, you must do so via Eventbook as capacity is limited (50)
