Yesterday, the Sundance Film Festival announced its 2021 winners with narrative film CODA (dir. Siân Heder) the first in its history to win the Grand Jury Prize, Directing Award, and the Audience Award in the U.S. Dramatic category. The World Cinema Dramatic category also featured a multi-award winner, Hive (dir. Blerta Basholli), which grabbed the Grand Jury Prize, the Directing Award, and the Audience Award. In terms of documentary, the big winners were Summer Of Soul (…Or, When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised) (dir. Questlove) and Flee (dir. Jonas Poher Rasmussen).
