The 34th edition of Sunny Side of the Doc has just concluded in La Rochelle, France. With a strong focus on viewers, this year’s edition recognised the significant impact of documentaries on audiences worldwide.

The event attracted over 2,000 participants from 64 different countries, representing major broadcasters, studios, and decision-makers. This diverse gathering fostered collaboration and inspiration, highlighting the global nature of the documentary community.

Sunny Side of the Doc’s commitment to innovation was evident in its dedicated section, where creators, project leaders, and cultural institutions exchanged ideas and experiences on new and groundbreaking forms of storytelling.
