The 20th Transilvania International Film Festival kicks off in just over a month, 23 July – 8 August, and how sow released the lineup to its centrepiece programme, «Romanian Days».

The entire selection includes 45 films from festival home country #Romania, 15 of which are shorts and 4 of which are non-fiction films. The 45 «Romanian Days» films are part of the festivals’w wider programme of over 170+ films. Soon, Transilvania International Film Festival will also release the titles of their documentary specific, «What’s Up Doc?» section. Last year, Modern Times Review attended the Cluj-Napoca festival for the first time where films like Collective, Acasa, My Home, The Painter and the Thief, and Andrei Tarkovsky: A Cinema Prayer, and all screened.

As part of «Romanian Days» 2021, Andrei Dăscălescu’s Holy Father and Andra Tarara’s personal and moving Us Against Us will screen. World Premiering will be Dan Dinu and Cosmin Dumitrache’s impressive nature documentary Wild Romania and Oana Giurgiu’s Occasional Spies about ordinary people recruited by British Intelligence and sent on a mission in German-occupied Eastern Europe.
