After having promised a physical edition by the end of 2021 Spring, #FIPADOC is now set to return to cinemas. Having been split due to the ongoing pandemic situation, FIPADOC’s Professional Days Industry programme took place between 18 – 22 January, entirely online.
In Biarritz, France, FIPADOC will present its entire 2021 selections to physical audiences between 12 – 17 June, 2021. The physical screenings come with the support of the Biarritz City Hall and all partners. The programme will feature 155 works representing 35 countries – including two recent Oscar nominees, The Mole Agent and Collective. Under strict health and safety conditions, Biarritz’ Gare du Midi, Casino Theater, Bellevue auditorium, and Cinema le Royal will host the screenings.
Additional films featured across the programme include A New Shift (dir. Jindřich Andrš), An Ordinary Country (dir. Tomasz Wolski), Downstream to Kinshasa (dir. Dieudo Hamadi) Radiograph of a Family (dir. Firouzeh Khosrovani), and more.
On 16 June, the FIPADOC closing night, awards will be revealed. Find more information and buy tickets – HERE
