The Thessaloniki Film Festival and iMEdD invite podcasters and media professionals globally to submit ideas for a podcast development project. Winners will produce an audio documentary with iMEdD support, focusing on journalistic research. Submissions should be original, journalistically valuable, and feasible. Fictional elements or monologues are not accepted.

Submissions are open until January 31, 2024, in Greek or English, for individuals or groups. The iMEdD jury’s selection will be announced at the 26th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival (March 7-17, 2024), with the winner receiving full production support and funding from iMEdD.

Last year’s selected podcast, “Mute – The silent violence of the parting walls” by Andreas Vagias, was featured at the 2023 festival and is available online. This initiative aims to enrich film and journalism ties, promoting independent research and storytelling.
