DokuFest has revealed the full lineup of films set to compete in its 23rd edition. The festival received 3,325 submissions from 119 countries, from which 102 films were selected across eight competition sections. The festival will feature World, International, and European premieres, cementing DokuFest’s role as a significant launchpad for both documentary and narrative short films in the region.

- Human Rights Dox Competition
- Green Dox Competition
- Truth Dox Competition
- National Competition
This year’s festival theme is «NEW ORDER,» focusing on the pressing issues and concerns facing society today. The world is witnessing rapid transitions, with increasing economic disparities, global conflicts such as the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, and significant geopolitical shifts. Factors like Russia’s militarized economy, China’s economic slowdown, and the rising influence of the Global South suggest a potential reconfiguration of the international order.
DokuFest will take place from August 2 to 10 in various venues throughout the historic city centre of Prizren and at the Innovation and Training Park (ITP).
