The Institute of Documentary Film has opened submissions for the 15th East Doc Platform (EDP), the region’s largest documentary industry event, set for 19–25 March 2026 in Prague. Filmmakers have until 14 November 2025 to apply; notifications will be issued 15 January 2026.

EDP connects creators with producers, broadcasters, distributors, festival programmers, and sales agents through activities tailored to a project’s stage. Key components include the East Doc Forum—EDP’s flagship pitching platform for feature documentaries and factual series—alongside East Doc Market’s curated one-to-one meetings and the Czech Docs: Coming Soon… showcase. Forum presentations are scheduled for 24 March, with Market sessions on 23 March (rough cuts & completed films) and 24–25 March (projects in development and Forum meetings).

Eligible submissions include creative feature-length documentaries and factual series from Central and Eastern Europe in development, production, or post-production, as well as finished short and feature films; international projects thematically linked to the CEE region are also considered.
