FIPADOC has released the remaining titles of nearly 200 for its fourth edition, to be held in Biarritz from January 17 to 23, 2022. An in-person event, the 2022 FIPADOC edition features the international documentary, French documentary, musical documentary, and Impact competitions. It also features several speciality selections, including the youth-oriented Campus program and the SMART showcase of digital documentary experiences, including VR, AR, podcasts, and more.
The festival’s guest of honour is Dutch filmmaker Heddy Honigmann, who will be honoured with a screening of The Underground Orchestra, No Hay Camino (There is No Path), and more.
For the lineup, fils like All In by Volkan Üce, Ousmane Samassékou’s The Last Shelter, Writing With Fire by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh, Questlove’s Summer of Soul, A Man and A Camera by Guido Hendrikx, Babi Yar. Context by Sergei Loznitsa, Pawel Lozinski’s The Balcony Movie, and many more.
