Roman Ostrovskyi’s Ukrainian feature Clouds Move with Great Speed has won the Golden Lily for Best Film at the 26th goEast Festival of Central and Eastern European Film, which took place in Wiesbaden from 21 to 27 April 2026. The festival’s first edition under new director Rebecca Heiler presented 76 films and welcomed more than 120 international industry guests, with awards across the Competition, RheinMain Short Film Competition and East-West Talent Lab carrying a combined prize value of €26,000. Ivana Mladenović received the Award of the City of Wiesbaden for Best Director for Sorella di Clausura, while Outliving Shakespeare by Inna Sahakyan and Ruben Ghazaryan was named Best Documentary Film.
