The 14th MakeDox creative documentary film festival takes place from 17 to 24 August in Skopje. Congruently, the fourth edition of the MakeCoProDox Forum will take place on the 21 to 23 August.
Opening with Dancing Pina (dir. Florian Heinzen-Ziob), the film programme consists of over 70 documentary films across competitive programs. There will also be 2 out-of-competition programmes: Country in Focus: Denmark and the Kids & Youth Programme.
Further activities include a masterclass with Scenes from the Labudović Reels: Non-Aligned and Ciné-Guerrillas filmmaker, Mila Turajlić. There will also be an editing workshop With Jesper Osmund & Tue Steen Müller the continuation of Doc Talks Under the Fig Tree, and concerts and DJ-sets throughout.
Of the films screened in the main competition, included are Lea Glob’s Apolonia, Apolonia, Guy Davidi’s Innocence, Margareth Olin’s Songs of the Earth, and many more..
