Nordisk Panorama 2021: The complete winners

Of 62 nominated Nordic short and documentary films, the jury members and audiences of the 32nd Nordisk Panorama have now chosen the winners of its five competition sections. The award ceremony was held at Malmö City Hall with all the winning directors present.

  • Best Nordic Documentary: Aboli’s Journey (Abolis resa) (dir. Yasaman Sharifmanesh) – Sweden
  • Best Nordic Short Film: The Night Train (Nattåget) (dir. Jerry Carlsson) – Sweden/France
  • Honorable Mention (Short Film): Nights and Days in July, (Nätter och dagar i juli) (dir. Jana Bringlöv Ekspong) – Sweden
  • New Nordic Voice: Skál (Skál) (dir. Cecilie Debell & Maria Tórgarð) – Denmark/Faroe Islands
  • Honorable Mention (New Nordic Voice): Fly So Far, (Nuestra libertad) (dir. Celina Escher) – Sweden
  • Honorable Mention (New Nordic Voice): Young & Afraid, (Nattebarn) (dir. Sverre Kvamme & Petter Aaberg) – Norway/Denmark
  • City of Malmö’s Audience Award: Flee, (Flugt) (dir. Jonas Poher Rasmussen) – Denmark
  • Young Nordic – Children’s Choice Award: Stories from the Shower (Fortellinger fra dusjen) (dir. Teresia Fant) – Norway
