Similarly powerful, No More History Without Us by Priscilla Brasil exposes greenwashing in the Amazon, advocating for the autonomy and dignity of Indigenous communities.

The festival also delves into political and social histories. Sempre by Luciana Fina revisits Portugal’s #Carnation Revolution#, connecting past struggles to present-day aspirations. Carlos Pereira’s fictional Slimane, set in a dystopian future Germany, highlights the survival of marginalized queer communities in an oppressive society. Finally, Soundtrack to a Coup d’État by Johan Grimonprez revisits the #Cold War#, exploring how music fueled anti-colonial resistance in Africa.
