Sarajevo Film Festival 2023: the complete winners

The full awards have been handed out upon the conclusion of the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival. See below for the complete award winners, including documentary from a jury consisting of Chicken & Egg’s Iva Dimitrova, CPH:DOX Artistic Director Niklas Engstrom, and Slovakian Director/Producer Péter Kerekes, the Heart of Sarajevo Awards in the documentary category were given to:

Honorary Heart of Sarajevo

  • Mark Cousins, director and screenwriter
  • Lynne Ramsay, director, screenwriter, and producer
  • Charlie Kaufman, screenwriter, director, and producer

The Honorary Heart of Sarajevo is awarded in recognition of exceptional contribution to the art of film.
