Taskovski Film Training welcomes Kim Longinotto for April masterclass

    On March 25 April, Taskovski Film Training DOCSCONNECT presents a very special Masterclass with Kim Longinotto. In purchasing a ticket and attending this special event, you can make an optional donation which will be used to support Ukrainian filmmakers.

    The masterclass is part of the Gender Film Program that aims to support women’s voices and agency in the film sector, made in collaboration with the British Council, Film Development Board Nepal and Nepali Female Filmmakers.

    Kim Longinotto is an acclaimed British director and cinematographer best known for her observational documentaries dealing with the less visible topics of oppression and discrimination of women across the globe. Throughout her career she was recognized for her delicate and compassionate treatment of social injustice topics for which she received multiple awards at prestigious film festivals from Cannes, Sundance, IDFA to CPH:DOX, including the BAFTA award for best TV documentary Divorce Iranian Style. in 2000.
