Thessaloniki Documentary Festival sets globetrotting 2021 tribute programme

The 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival has set the exciting tribute, titled «Destination: Journey», which aims to answer the questions: Why do we travel? What are we looking for in our journeys? The films of the tribute will be screened 4 – 14 March, 2021 on the Festival’s online platform for viewers in Greece.

Through 19 documentaries and two fiction films, the tribute explores the contemporary notion of travelling and our relationship with it now that the need for exploration more urgent than ever. The tribute will be accompanied by a bilingual special edition, in which artists and academics approach different aspects of the journey.
