The Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival announces the fourth Ji.hlava New Visions Forum: U.S. Docs. Scheduled for 29-31 October, 2024, the forum will present eight U.S. documentary projects in various stages of production to European decision-makers. This initiative aims to foster U.S.-European documentary co-productions and is open to a diverse range of genres and formats, including hybrid and experimental films. The submission deadline is 31 May, 2024.

The forum also offers networking opportunities, and the most promising projects will receive cash and in-kind awards from partners such as AmDocs and #Cannes Docs#. Past participants have gone on to premiere at major festivals like SXSW and Tribeca.
