The 36th edition of Sunny Side of the Doc, the leading international co-production market for documentary content, has unveiled its full slate of 42 official selection projects and 6 pioneering works in its Sunny Innovation Lab. Taking place in La Rochelle from 23–26 June 2025, this year’s edition foregrounds the theme «New Routes to Storytelling», spotlighting innovative formats, urgent themes, and emerging voices from across the globe.
Selected from a competitive pool of 328 submissions representing 56 countries, the official lineup spans seven pitch categories — Current Affairs & Investigation, Nature & Environment, Science, History, Arts & Entertainment, Impact Campaigns, and New Voices — with over 50% of selected projects produced by women.
