One World Brussels, the international outpost of the Czech Republic’s long-running One World human rights documentary festival, will return for its 19th edition from April 20–24, 2026, rolling out a five-day program of screenings and debates across venues in the Belgian capital. The Brussels event is tied to the wider One World platform, organised by Czech NGO People in Need, which describes the parent festival as the world’s largest human rights film festival and positions public discussion as a core part of its programming model.

The Brussels edition is set to present 10 titles from the broader One World selection, with most screenings free to attend via advance registration and the full program running in English. Venues include Cinema Galeries, Cinéma Aventure, EUROPEUM, Prague House, the Norwegian Embassy’s Norway House and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, underscoring the event’s alignment with Brussels’ diplomatic and policy ecosystem.

The opening night, set for April 20 at Cinema Galeries, will launch with *2000 Meters to Andriivka*. Other announced titles include Traces, She, Surviving the Death Committee, My Boyfriend the Fascist, A Free Daughter of Free Kyrgyzstan, The Voice of Hind Rajab, Welded Together, Elon Musk Unveiled – The Tesla Experiment and Politzek: The Voices That Defy the Kremlin. Nearly every screening on the schedule is paired with a debate, maintaining the festival’s established emphasis on post-screening conversation and policy-facing engagement.
