Baltic Sea Docs 2020-featured

The 24th edition of the Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries# has announced its Baltic Sea Docs 2020 participating projects. Occurring mostly online from 29 August to 6 September, the 24 selected projects represent 16 countries including Armenia, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and others.

This year’s event switches online from its usual home of Riga, Latvia, however will still feature a preparatory workshop, pitching sessions, individual meetings with international experts, seminars, and a film programme. Workshop mentors for Baltic Sea Docs 2020 include documentary film consultants Tue Steen Müller and Mikael Opstrup, as well as DocNomads Joint Masters programme lecturer Péter Kerekes, directors Emma Davie, Nino Orjonikidze and Audrius Stonis, First Hand Films’ Gitte Hansen, and editor Phil Jandaly.
