Having just concluded, the Institute of Documentary Film‘s East Doc Platform welcomed over 400 film professionals from March 6 to 17. Offering a number of networking activities, lectures, presentations, and masterclasses, its programme was available for the accredited guests with two of the panel discussions streamed on Facebook. The pitching centred East Doc Forum was spread into 3 days with the first two devoted to feature-length projects, while the third brought XR projects and factual series.
As part of the East Doc Platform programme, awards were presented from the International Jury consisting of #Asta Dalman# (SVT), #Luisa Schwamborn# (NEW DOCS), and #Jane Mote# (The Whickers), while various partner organizations also bestowed accolades and financial compensation on selected projects.
