Between May 17 – April 5, the 51st Annual #Visions du Réel# will shift the International Film Festival Nyon online in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to run April 24 – May 2, the new digital version will run for a longer total duration

All the films will be free, and many activities, short-form interviews with directors, online masterclasses, and unprecedented encounters will also be online throughout the digital festival. Films will be limited to 500 active viewers and will also hold an age limit of 16. All films can be accessed via the Visions du Réel programme.

Some of the works by special guests will also be visible through the platform as well. 2020 Maître du Réel, #Claire Denis#, will give her Masterclass online, while filmmakers #Petra Costa# and #Peter Mettler#, will also do so. It will also be possible to view a selection of their films via our friends at DAFilms.
