Together with its partner, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN CEC), the Green Film Network (GFN) has announced the awarding of two prizes — the Best Short Green Film and the Best Feature Green Film — to be presented on 11 October 2025 at two venues: Abu Dhabi at the IUCN World Conservation Congress and Innsbruck at the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival. The nominations to these awards were collected from the world’s leading green film festivals.
More than 1,400 Member organisations and some 16,000 experts make it the global authority on the status of the natural world and the measures needed to safeguard it. The IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (CEC) is committed to raise awareness and inspire action to conserve nature. For a world committed to protecting nature now and into the future.
